I'm really looking forward to attending General Assembly in Seattle this September. Ever since high school I've made several unsuccessful attempts at completing a college-level degree, but this time around things will be different. In the past when I was going to college I simply didn't understand why I was there. For a long time I perceived college as being what I had seen from movies like "Animal House", "Old School", "Van Wilder", and "PCU". Don't get me wrong, those are all great flicks, but what I'm trying to say is that partying was all I was doing. I didn't have any discipline in my lifestyle whatsoever, I didn't have a vision of what I wanted to do after college, and I wasn't aiming for any kind of goal.
Today things are different. More than any other time in my life I'm focused on what I want, and I now have the ambition, passion, and drive to achieve better things in life.
